Thanks for the suggestion of going to the doc…If I haven’t exhausted every avenue I would not be asking this question.

I have not but if you find one out, please let me know. We have been trying to conceive for 3 years and it has yet to happen. I have PCOS and do not ovulate. I also do not get my period w/out the help of provera. I take provera, then clomid and always take metformin. I also do an HCG injection after the rare occasion that I do ovulate. Nothing seems to be working. I even lost 20 lbs thinking that would help. (I only weight 160lbs.) and that didn’t work. Right now, I am looking for a miracle because I can’t afford the $17,000 to do invitro. Good luck to you.

I know people who give lots of credence to progesterone cream. I personally think it’s just by accident that it works for some women, not because it actually does work. But that’s just my opinion. My suggestion is to get help from a doc.

What I can tell you though is if you have the facial hair growth problem, Peppermint tea, steeped 5-10 minutes twice daily really does work for me to reduce facial hair growth. It apparently binds testosterone out of the blood. Worked better than my prescription drug. Might help with ovulation, come to think of it.

I have a bad case of PCOS and I woke up one day and decided to lose a few pounds to eleviate the symptoms and increase my chances in conceiving. I lost only 12 lbs but it made a huge difference, and then I took some trash called VITEX for about a week, but it made my cycle last a whole month, so my doctor put me on birth control called Ortho Novum 1/50 (28 day pack) in august. I took the birth control 2 pills for 5 days so then my cycle got back to normal and now I am 16 wks pregnant. I got pregnant in sept right after I stopped the 5 days of taking the ortho novum. He wanted me to increase my estrogen intake so thats why he put me on so much ortho novum. He told me I got pregnant because of stopping the birth control so abruptly, he said "sorry I didnt warn you that you were gonna get pregnant" but I was happy none the less. Good Luck
