I want an organic garden. I am just starting out. Does anyone have any tips – what to read, certain veggies, fruit and herbs to grow and why, where to purchase the seeds or the plant, ect…..?

I am going to have a garage sale soon, and I have a lot nice, like new clothes that I’m going to put in it. I would like to get the most money I can for them, but I don’t want to put too high of a price on them or they won’t sell. I have seen a wide variety of prices on similiar items at other garage sales, some I thought were WAY overpriced. for used jeans! What is the most you would pay for the following items? (Some are name brand like Levi, Abercromie, Gap and Tommy, but not all.) (Mens and womens)

The Brown County Recycling center will now only take rechargeable batteries (individually wrapped & separate) I am told by a co-worker, and no longer accepts the regular type of used batteries. Any ideas on who, where or how to dispose of these now? We collect quite a few at work. Thanks for your help!

I use bug spray frequently but I feel like I am just putting chemicals all over myself. Its effective and it smells nice in small doses but it hurts your lungs when you breathe it in (not that I inhale it but it is inevitable) and leaves a visible cloud of chemicals. Is there a safer substitute? Also, I use hand sanitizer very often and I am wondering if anyone knows of an eco friendly substitute for that too.

I’m looking for ways to save some money on my electrical and gas bill at home. I’ve heard that solar power is a great way to do that, but it looks pretty expensive to have it installed. I’m thinking that I may have to spend some time installing it myself. Where can I find Solar Power Information to install my own solar power equipment?

What do you suggest the answer is then ? The thing is, I’m physically disabled. I have Cerebral Palsy affecting my legs and right arm. Therefore I haven’t got that much mobility but am determined not to turn into a fat blob! Please help!!!
